Why should the Neoparin injection be done no closer than 5 cm from the odvel?
Good morning, I'm bothered by a question. I use the drug neoparin, anticoagulant after surgery. In the leaflet it is written to make the injection no closer than 5 cm from the entire wavel. I wonder why this is so? I will add that in the hospital I got a recommendation that a minimum of 2.5 cm from the barbiloid. I follow the leaflet of the drug, but this issue does not give me peace of mind

Zgodnie z Kartą Charakterystyki Produktu zastrzyki Neoparin należy wykonywać w przednio-boczną lub tylno-boczną część powłok brzusznych. Obszar ten wyznacza właśnie ta umowna granica 5 cm.
W te okolice podanie zastrzyku samemu jest najłatwiejsze. W tych miejscach również tkanka podskórna jest najgrubsza, najłatwiej jest utworzyć fałd skórny i w ten sposób unika się podania domięśniowego, co grozi powstaniem rozległych krwiaków. W miarę możliwości należy unikać wstrzykiwania w miejsca zasinione po poprzednich iniekcjach, aby nie powiększać krwiaków.
Podanie leku w innym miejscu zmieni szybkość jego działania i długość utrzymywania się w organizmie.
