Wśród działań niepożądanych leku Xyzal nie opisano, aby lek powodował zagęszczenie wydzieliny z nosa i zatkanie nosa.
Lek może powodować obrzęki, być może wystąpił obrzęk błony śluzowej nosa. W takim wypadku zastosować można środki działające miejscowo - np. nawilżający czy udrażniający aerozol do nosa. Jeśli leczenie nie przyniesie oczekiwanych rezultatów - skonsultować się z lekarzem.
