Can Sanprobi IBS and Debutir take permanently? When taking these probiotics is ok, after discontinuation diarrhea returns.

Zespół jelita drażliwego (z ang. Irritable Bowel Syndrome – IBS) jest przewlekłą chorobą przewodu pokarmowego o charakterze czynnościowym. Leczenie IBS ma charakter objawowy.
Tak więc leczenie należy stosować tak długo jak występują dolegliwości wpływające na pogorszenie jakości życia. Przy czym objawy IBS mogą okresowo ustępować i nawracać. W okresie bezobjawowym nie ma potrzeby leczenia.

Warto też rozważyć zastosowanie diety z ograniczeniem łatwo fermentujących krótkołańcuchowych węglowodanów (FODMAP). Według rekomendacji Polskiego Towarzystwa Gastroenterologii z 2018r., zaleca się jej stosowanie przez 6 tygodni w celu złagodzenia objawów zespołu jelita drażliwego.
