How to interpret the presence of strands of mucus and leukocytes in the urine?
Hi I struggled with cystitis and then the problem was determined, but there was pain in the right kidney. I had a urine test and in the results it turned out that I have leukocytes and quite numerous strands of mucus, and the rest in the norm. What could this mean?

Do nadmiernej, wykrywanej w badaniach, ilości śluzu w moczu może dojść w różnych powodów.
Liczne pasma śluzu w moczu mogą wskazywać na zakażenia układu moczowego lub narządów płciowych. Aczkolwiek istotne jest też aby prawidłowo oddać mocz do badania.
Jeśli występował ból w okolicy lędźwiowej oraz niedawno przebyta infekcja układu moczowego, proszę powtórzyć badanie ogólne moczu.
Jeśli nie będą pojawiać się dolegliwości dyzuryczne, pieczenie, ból podczas oddawania moczu, gorączka to zgodnie z wytycznymi bezobjawowego bakteriomoczu nieleczymy.
