Good morning, for sinus tachycardia I take beto 25 (1 tablet in the morning, half a tablet in the evening). Unfortunately, it causes a large drop in pressure, chest pain and weakness after about an hour (the same happened in the case of Concor cor 1. 25 mg). How to dose this drug to avoid these uncomfortable incidents? And the second question: Since beto is a prolonged-release drug, should its level in the body remain at the same level around the clock?

Kwestię dawkowania leku Beto 25 ZK należy omówić z lekarzem, gdyż to w jego kompetencjach leży dobieranie odpowiedniej dawki leków na receptę w odniesieniu do stanu zdrowia lekarza. Może się bowiem okazać, że pacjent nie toleruje leków z grupy beta-adrenolityków, skoro jest to już druga substancja z tej grupy wywołująca podobne skutki uboczne.
Tabletka o przedłużonym uwalnianiu rozpuszcza się szybko, a granulki o przedłużonym uwalnianiu rozprzestrzeniają się w przewodzie pokarmowym, uwalniając metoprolol w sposób ciągły przez 20 godzin. Po tym czasie stężenie leku we krwi powoli spada.
