Can the bleeding stop on the first day of using the contraceptive pill?

I started taking single-component contraceptive pills on the 1st day of the cycle. I know that irregular bleeding may occur or it may not occur at all. I wonder if this applies to the first menstruation. So 2 days ago I had the first day of my period and then I took the first pill. Yesterday and today there is no bleeding. Is this normal?

The time after which bleeding stops when using contraceptives is on average 2-3 days from the first pill. However, this is a very individual matter. Single-component contraceptive pills contain very small amounts of hormones, however, if taken correctly, they provide full contraceptive protection from the first pill. Therefore, if you are sure that the first tablet was taken on the 1st day of the cycle, a quick cessation of bleeding should not be a cause for concern. However, if before the start of contraceptive therapy menstruation appeared irregularly, you had casual bleeding, you should use additional protection in the form of a condom for the first 7 days of contraceptive therapy. If in doubt, please contact your gynecologist. Good morning, on Tuesday I took the first tablet from the blister, but I didn't take any more because the gynecologist recommended that I not use it because of my problems. I also use Macmiror 500 globules. I got bleeding this morning. Is this normal and the result of stopping contraception?

Good morning. I have just a problem with this, I got these pills to stop menstruation yesterday and reading all the answers I do not see that someone had it stopped, I suffer from endometriosis and I have an ovarian cyst, for this reason the doctor recommended them to me to stop bleeding and protect against pregnancy

To @Aleksandra: Taking the contraceptive pill on any day of the cycle will not postpone the bleeding, it may even accelerate it. It is difficult to clearly predict how your body will react to the supply of hormones at the end of the cycle.
