Takie połączenie leków może wykazywać wzmożone działanie uspokajające. Ilość oraz nasilenie działań niepożądanych zależy od indywidualnej wrażliwości pacjenta. Z pewnością należy unikać prowadzenia pojazdów oraz wykonywania innych czynności wymagających wzmożonej aktywności psychomotorycznej.
Dużo bezpieczniejszym rozwiązaniem w tym przypadku będą leki oparte na paracetamolu (np. Apap Przeziębienie, Fervex, Solpadeina).
