Podczas stosowania leku Loxon 2% rzadko, bo u 1 do 10 na 10 000 pacjentów może wystąpić nadmierne owłosienie, w tym pojawienie się zarostu na twarzy kobiet.

Lek Loxon 2% jest przeznaczony do stosowania na skórę głowy i ma działać przede wszystkim miejscowo w jej obrębie. Minoksydyl (składnik aktywny leku Loxon 2%) pobudza porost włosów w łysieniu typu androgenowego u kobiet i u mężczyzn.

Jeśli ma Pani zdiagnozowany hirsutyzm i łysienie typu androgenowego, to najprawdopodobniej Pani problemy mają podłoże w zaburzeniach hormonalnych i powinny być leczone kompleksowo. W takim przypadku wskazane jest prowadzenie terapii pod okiem endokrynologa, dermatologa lub ginekologa.
