Zolpic contains the active substance zolpidem 10 mg. It is a remedy used for short-term treatment of insomnia in adults (no more than 4 weeks). The hypnotic effect of Zolpic occurs after oral administration within 10-30 minutes. Trittico CR contains trazodone and is indicated m.in for use in depressive disorders of various backgrounds. Trittico CR is a drug that, unlike Zolpic, does not disturb the "structure" of sleep. Its addictive effect is also definitely smaller. Regardless of whether Trittico is prescribed to patients suffering from insomnia or depression, the effect of this drug occurs only a few days after the start of therapy, so it is important for the patient to be patient and continue the dosage regimen prescribed by the doctor. Of course, the effectiveness of the drug Trittico is not free from side effects, which most often occur at the beginning of therapy, but in the vast majority they disappear over time. For more information, see the package leaflet: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/80016/trittico-cr-tabletki/ulotka For most patients, it is safe and well tolerated. Please also note that, according to the information provided by the manufacturer of Trittico, it is not recommended to combine it with other hypnotic medicines, such as Zolpic, as they may increase their hypnotic effects and increase side effects. In case of any doubts or the impression that the effect of Trittico is insufficient, I recommend consulting the doctor from whom you received a prescription for this drug. Zolpic is addictive and insomnia may occur after stopping taking it. Please be patient and wait for Trittico to work.
