Pramolan zawiera opipramolu dichlorowodorek - jest to substancja chemiczna, która nie ma pochodzenia naturalnego i nie jest to surowiec ziołowy. Opipramol jest trójpierścieniowym lekiem przeciwdepresyjnym działającym przeciwlękowo i uspokajająco. Lek "ułatwia zasypianie, znosi stany przygnębienia i poprawia
samopoczucie".
