It is not recommended to consume alcohol before or after taking hydroxyzine. This combination exacerbates the effect of the drug and can therefore cause symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, increased heartbeat, drowsiness or tremor, and even life-threatening hypotension, cardiac arrhythmias, deepening coma or cardiopulmonary collapse. Where do the people who give opinions about the ban get this information. Hydroxyzine is administered to alcoholics during an attack of aggression. If it were like young inexperienced doctors who duplicate the leaflets of pharmaceutical companies, all alcoholics would die after administering hydroxyzine. I have been taking it for 20 years and I drink not one but a few beers and I live and I have a healthy liver. I also drink vodka, but then I don't take medication in the evening.

Nie, nie należy spożywać alkoholu przed ani po zażyciu hydroksyzyny. Takie połączenie spowoduje nasilenie działania leku i powodować senność, nadmierny spadek ciśnienia, bóle głowy. Co do zasady żadnych leków nie powinno się łączyć z alkoholem
