Rekomenduje się, aby zachować odstęp ok. 14 dni od podania szczepienia, jednak nie zawsze stan zdrowia na to pozwala, dlatego - w porozumieniu z lekarzem - należy ocenić, czy wdrożenie antybiotyku jest na ten moment niezbędne. Jeśli tak, nie należy odwlekać terapii.
