If Xarelto has a rash, should I see a specialist or a family doctor?

Hi For a week I have been taking the drug Xarleto 15mg 2x1 I have deep vein thrombosis, I only got out of the hospital. I take the drug according to the doctor's instructions. I noticed a rash q in the chest area and on the back of my back. Is it possible that I am allergic to this drug? Should I go to the family doctor or preferably a specialist? Please advise.
