Coraz więcej źródeł potwierdza bezpieczność stosowania szczepionek przeciwko Covid-19 u kobiet karmiących piersią. Dotyczy to także szczepionki Janssen (Johnson & Johnson). Wiele prac wskazuje, że przeciwciała mogą być przenoszone do mleka matki i chronić niemowlę przed zachorowaniem. Nie trzeba zachowywać odstępu czasu pomiędzy przyjęciem szczepionki, a karmieniem.
