Can the cause of itching be changes in the pH of the vagina?
I would like to know when you can find out that the drug is wrongly selected? After the holidays, I got vaginal mycosis. The gynecologist prescribed me one oral tablet (I do not remember the name) and pimafucin ointment as well as macmiror complex 500 intravagational tablets. I am after the 4th tablet and I still feel itching and discomfort. I'm before my period, and I always feel itchy then. I don't know if it's too short to go to the gynecologist for a change in treatment. Is it also possible that despite the treatment I can feel ph changes in the sphagina and this may be the cause?

Ogólna zasada jest taka, że do lekarza należy zwrócić się po zakończeniu przepisanej kuracji, jeśli dolegliwości się utrzymują. Jeśli jest Pani zaniepokojona, to może się Pani skonsultować w dowolnym momencie.
Za normę przyjmuje się odczyn (pH) pochwy w granicach 3,8 – 4,5 (+/- niewielkie odchylenia w zależności od źródeł). Podczas miesiączki może to być do około 5. Swędzenie okolic intymnych w mojej ocenie nie jest prawidłowym objawem na żadnym etapie cyklu miesiączkowego.
