What time should Glucophage XR 500 mg be taken?

Glucophage XR - time of taking I am taking Glucophage XR due to insulin resistance (2 x 500mg per day). The doctor who drank the medicine recommended taking 1 tablet in the morning at breakfast, and one in the evening, but it worries me that it has nothing to do with the content of the leaflet where the manufacturer recommends taking the drug after the evening meal. What are the manufacturer's recommendations and what effects can taking one dose of the drug in the morning have?

Proszę lek przyjmować zgodnie z zaleceniami lekarza lub jeśli ma Pani wątpliwości skonsultować to jeszcze raz z lekarzem.
Charakterystyka Produktu Leczniczego leku Glucophage XR 500 mg rzeczywiście zaleca przyjmowanie leku podczas wieczornego posiłku, ale są to zalecenia do stosowania. Dawkowanie leku i sposób dawkowania ustala ostatecznie lekarz, który zna Pani wyniki badań. Widocznie istnieje potrzeba podawania leku także rano w Pani przypadku. Dobrze też jest mierzyć poziom glikemii systematycznie.
