Objawy niepożądane (tzw. objawy odstawienia) występują w przypadku nagłego odstawienia Setaloftu. Charakteryzują się np. zawrotami głowy, zaburzeniami czucia, niepokojem, drżeniem czy bólami głowy.
Bardzo rzadko takie objawy związane z odstawieniem występują u osób, które pominęły 1 dawkę. Najczęściej pojawiają się w ciągu kilku pierwszych dni, gdy pacjent sam przerwie leczenie.
