Tanganil nie jest dostępny i zarejestrowany w Polsce.
Lek jest bardzo trudno dostępny na całym świecie, został oznaczony przez FDA (Amerykańska Agencja Żywności i Leków) oraz Komisję Europejską jako lek sierocy.
