Combining Afobam (alprazolam) with Zolaxa Rapid (olanzapine) should only be done under medical supervision.
Both medications can cause drowsiness and dizziness, and their concomitant use can worsen these symptoms.
Afobam (alprazolam) is a benzodiazepine anxiolyticeThe typical starting dose of alprazolam is 0.25-0.5 mg 3 times a day. Zolaxa Rapid (olanzapine) is an antipsychotic drug used, m.in, for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. The dosage of olanzapine depends on the indication: 10 mg/day in schizophrenia or 15 mg/day in a manic episode.
Consult your doctor to adjust the dosage and assess the safety of this combination of drugs in your case.

Afobam does not affect the effectiveness of birth control pills.

Ponieważ nie ma leku Zolpgen, zakładam, że chodzi Pani o lek Zolpigen. Jeśli tak - proszę czytać dalej.
Połączenie leków Afobam i Zolpigen wiąże się ze zwiększonym ryzykiem działań niepożądanych i nie powinno być stosowane przez pacjenta "na własną rękę" czy też w sytuacji, kiedy leki te zlecili różni specjaliści. Możliwość łączenia istnieje wyłącznie na wyraźne polecenie lekarza i pod jego ścisłym nadzorem.
Zarówno benzodiazepiny takie jak alprazolam zawarty w leku Afobam, jak i zolpidem z leku Zolpigen wiążą się z receptorami benzodiazepinowymi. Podczas równoległego stosowania mogą występować nadmierne uspokojenie i nasilenie działania nasennego, zawroty głowy, dezorientacja, zaburzenia koncentracji. Odnotowano również pojedyncze przypadki innych skutków ubocznych.
