Nie, Debretin i Duspatalin Retard nie są tymi samymi lekami - zawierają one różne substancje czynne w różnych dawkach o nieco innym mechanizmie działania, a także mają inną formę uwalniania substancji czynnej.

Debretin to tabletki powlekane przeznaczone do stosowania w zaburzeniach czynności przewodu pokarmowego. Preparat zawiera trimebutynę, która reguluje perystaltykę przewodu pokarmowego i motorykę jelit.
Trimebutyna pobudza mięśnie jelita o zmniejszonej czynności oraz działa spazmolitycznie (rozkurczowo) na mięśnie o wzmożonej pobudliwości ruchowej.

Duspatalin Retard to kapsułki o przedłużonym uwalnianiu, które przeznaczone są do stosowania w zaburzeniach czynności przewodu pokarmowego.
