Valused nie zawiera składników, które mogłyby wywoływać uzależnienie. Lek zawiera wyciągi z trzech surowców roślinnych: korzenia kozłka lekarskiego, szyszek chmielu oraz ziela męczennicy. Stosowany jest tradycyjnie jako środek o działaniu uspokajającym i ułatwiającym zasypianie.
