Cervarix jest szczepionką stosowaną u osób od ukończenia 9 roku życia przeznaczoną do profilaktyki zmian przednowotworowych narządów płciowych i odbytu (szyjki macicy, sromu, pochwy i odbytu) oraz raka szyjki macicy i raka odbytu związanych przyczynowo z określonymi onkogennymi typami wirusa brodawczaka ludzkiego (HPV).
