Zgodnie z dokumentacją leku Vetira możliwe, ale niezbyt częste działania niepożądane (mogą wystąpić nie częściej niż u 1 na 100 osób) to zmniejszenie masy ciała lub zwiększenie masy ciała.
Statystycznie możliwe jest zatem zarówno przytycie, jak i schudnięcie, ale będzie to dotyczyć tylko niewielkiej liczby pacjentów przyjmujących ten lek.
