Nie są to odpowiedniki i leki te nie mogą być stosowane zamiennie bez konsultacji z lekarzem. Iporel to lek zawierający klonidynę. Polsart zawiera w składzie telmisartan, a Valsacor to lek z walsartanem. Pomimo, że są to leki krążeniowe i obniżające ciśnienie, to mechanizm działania jest inny.
Klonidyna jest agonistą presynaptycznego receptora α2-adrenergicznego i hamuje uwalnianie noradrenaliny. Telmisartan i walsartan to tak zwane "sartany" - antagoniści receptora AT1 dla angiotensyny II.
