Jeśli znieczulenie jest niewystarczające proszę poinformować stomatologa, aby zwiększył dawkę leku podawanego przed zabiegiem. Przyjmowanie dodatkowych leków przeciwbólowych tuż przed zabiegiem nie jest wskazane, a o wszystkich stosowanych na stałe lekach należy poinformować lekarza, który będzie wykonywał zabieg.
Solpadeinę czy inne leki przeciwbólowe można zastosować po zabiegu, jeśli będzie taka konieczność.
