Should I use a probiotic during treatment with Metronidazole?

Good morning I got from a doctor for diarrhea Metronidazole or at this antibiotic I have to take a probiotic?

Metronidazol to lek przeciwbakteryjny, który w zasadzie nie jest antybiotykiem, a chemioterapeutykiem. Warto jednak włączyć probiotyk przy każdej terapii przeciwbakteryjnej, a szczególnie jeśli powodem jej wdrożenia jest biegunka. Podczas brania antybiotyku najlepiej jest wybrać probiotyk jednoszczepowy zawierający drożdżaki Saccharomyces Boulardii (np. Enterol) lub bakterie Lactobacillus rhamnosus (np. Lacidofil), ponieważ są one przebadane pod kątem oporności na antybiotyki i chemioterapeutyki.
