Iberogast wskazany jest w leczeniu objawów towarzyszących wrzodom żołądka, jak m.in. zgaga, ból brzucha. Sam preparat nie wyleczy natomiast już istniejących wrzodów, może być stosowany jedynie wspomagająco.
