Jak podaje producent, słaba dostępność Sativexu podyktowana jest tym, iż obecnie dostępna partia ma datę ważności do końca sierpnia 2021 r. Dlatego apteki nie decydują się na przechowywanie leku na swoich stanach magazynowych. Nie ma również informacji, kiedy na rynek trafi nowa seria z dłuższą datą ważności.
