Does Azitrolek impair the effectiveness of birth control pills?
Hi I take Azitrolek 500mg and my question is whether it weakens the birth control pills I take vines? Do I need to protect myself further?

Tak, Azitrolek jest antybiotykiem, a więc ma on zdolności do zaburzania składu flory bakteryjnej przewodu pokarmowego na skutek czego pigułki antykoncepcyjne mogą nie wchłaniać się tak, jak powinny, a co za tym idzie - właściwie chronić przed ciążą.
Podczas całej antybiotykoterapii jak i 7 dni po jej zakończeniu należy zabezpieczać się dodatkowo prezerwatywą.
