Does light diarrhea affect the effectiveness of birth control pills?
Hello. For several days I noticed a loose stool at home in the morning, on Saturday there was a very loose stool, at 12:00 I took a tablet for diarrhea and by the end of the day the stool did not appear. At 18:00 I take birth control pills, does the fact of the appearance of loose stool and slight diarrhea affect the absorption of the anti-tablet? If the drug for diarrhea worked and did not appear by the end of the day, did the contraceptive pill work properly and the protection was maintained?

Niestety, nie mam wiedzy, co rozumie Pani pod pojęciem "lekkiej biegunki".
Skuteczność antykoncepcji zaburza biegunka, czyli oddanie płynnego lub półpłynnego stolca co najmniej 3 razy w ciągu 4 godzin od zażycia środka chroniącego przed ciążą.
Jednorazowe luźne stolce od czasu do czasu, czy w czasie dłuższym niż 4 godziny od przyjęcia tabletki antykoncepcyjnej nie mają żadnego wpływu na jej skuteczność i nie wymagają żadnej interwencji.

W takim razie jeśli rano pojawi się biegunka, ale ustąpi po zażyciu leku na biegunkę i nie pojawi się po zażyciu tabletki antykoncepcyjnej to nie ma powodów do obaw?
