Can Proursan be used during pregnancy?
Good morning, I'm 7 weeks pregnant. Before pregnancy, I took Proursan because of fatty liver of unknown origin. Liver results I have in the norm, the infectious diseases doctor said that despite the good results, I have to take Proursan 250 mg 2 times a day. But reading the leaflet I was a little scared about the use of this drug during pregnancy. Trust the doctor? After all, the doctor, it's the doctor - he knows what he's doing, right?

Tak, to prawda - lekarz wie, co robi. Lek Proursan może być stosowany w ciąży w przypadkach zdecydowanej konieczności.
Brak jest dostatecznych danych na temat stosowania kwasu ursodeoksycholowego, szczególnie podczas pierwszego trymestru ciąży. Badania na zwierzętach wykazały ryzyko uszkodzenia płodu w trakcie stosowania produktu we wczesnej fazie ciąży, natomiast działanie to nie jest potwierdzone u ludzi.
