Citalopram - substancja czynna leku Oropram - osiąga pełne stężenie we krwi po 1 do 2 tygodniach regularnego stosowania. Okres półtrwania leku w surowicy, czyli czas, po którym jego stężenie we krwi spadnie o połowę, wynosi około 1,5 doby, zatem u osób zdrowych mniej więcej po upływie tygodnia leku nie powinno być już w organizmie.
