Nifuroksazyd nie wpływa na skuteczność tabletek antykoncepcyjnych.
Należy pamiętać, że w przypadku ciężkich zaburzeń żołądkowo-jelitowych (np. wymiotów lub nasilonej biegunki), może dojść do zmniejszenia wchłaniania hormonów zawartych w tabletce antykoncepcyjnej. W takim przypadku należy przyjąć "dodatkową" tabletkę nie później niż 12 godzin od przyjęcia poprzedniej tabletki.
