Picie alkoholu w trakcie leczenia preparatem Nifuroksazyd może wywołać reakcję przejawiającą się nasiloną biegunką, wymiotami, bólem brzucha. Jednak sam nifuroksazyd nie wchłania się z przewodu pokarmowego i jest szybko wydalany z kałem. Ostateczny czas pasażu leku przez przewód pokarmowy może być jednak indywidualnie zmienny. Jeśli cierpiał Pan na zaburzenia gastryczne to spożywanie alkoholu zaledwie w dobę po zakończeniu leczenia może nie być bezpieczne ze względu na ogólny stan zdrowia.
