Is propranolol a metocard the same medicine?

Hi I would like to know if propranolol a metocard is the same drug and composition and whether propranolol as someone has neurosis or anxiety and faster heartbeat it will help thank you greetings

Metocard to nazwa handlowa preparatu, który w swoim składzie zawiera metoprolol. Metoprolol i propranolol to dwie różne substancje o podobnym sposobie działania (należą do tej samej grupy leków stosowanych m.in. w nadciśnieniu). Czyli metocard (metoprolol) i propranolol to dwa różne leki.

Odpowiadając na drugie pytanie - tak, propranolol jest stosowany również w przypadku występowania lęków i może pomóc pacjentom, którzy borykają się z takimi objawami.
