Nie należy samodzielnie zamieniać insulin. Decyzja w tej kwestii należy wyłącznie do diabetologa, bowiem jeśli lekarz z przyczyn medycznych zamieni pacjentowi insulinę, modyfikacji ulegają zasady, jakimi pacjent powinien się kierować.
