Takie połączenie nie jest wskazane, gdyż może prowadzić, m.in. do nasilenia działania uspokajającego, wpływu na układ oddechowy (wzrost ryzyka depresji oddechowej - zmniejszenia głębokości oraz częstości oddechów).
Jeśli mimo wszystko lekarz zdecyduje o wdrożeniu tego typu terapii, należy ściśle przestrzegać dawkowania ustalonego przez specjalistę.
