Is it possible that insomnia is caused by sudden discontinuation of Sulpiride?

For 5 months I took Sulpiride 50 mg in the morning. On April 26, 2021, the doctor stopped taking this medicine to me and since then I can not sleep (I sleep 2-3 hours), despite the fact that for the night biore trittico 75 mg. Is it possible that this insomnia is caused by sudden discontinuation of sulpiride? how long can this symptom last?

Po nagłym odstawieniu leków przeciwpsychotycznych, np. leku Sulpiryd, mogą wystąpić ostre objawy obejmujące nudności, wymioty, wzmożone pocenie się i bezsenność. Może dochodzić również do nawrotów choroby, dlatego zaleca się stopniowe odstawianie leku.

Objaw ten zwykle trwa od kilku dni do około 3 tygodni.

Proszę zgłosić opisany nam objaw lekarzowi prowadzącemu terapię.
