Discontinuation of one medication and replacement with another should always be consulted with a doctor, especially in the case of medications for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or other gastrointestinal diseases. Duspatalin (mebeverine) and Ircolon (trimebutine) are both used to treat IBS, but they work in slightly different ways.
If you are experiencing severe pain in your left side near the groin, it is important to consult a doctor. Pain in this area can have various causes, not necessarily related to IBS, and requires a thorough medical evaluation.
If I stop taking duspatalin, will I be able to take ircolon. I have a lot of pain in my left side near the groin.

Pomiędzy mebeweryną (Duspatalin) i trimebutyną (Ircolon) nie wykazano interakcji mogących negatywnie wpływać na ich skuteczność i bezpieczeństwo.
Z racji tego, że oba leki oddziałują motorykę jelit, i fakt, iż są one wydawane wyłącznie z przepisu lekarza, o tym, czy istnieje uzasadnienie dla ich jednoczesnego stosowania powinien zdecydować lekarz.
