Discontinuation of one medication and replacement with another should always be consulted with a doctor, especially in the case of medications for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or other gastrointestinal diseases. Duspatalin (mebeverine) and Ircolon (trimebutine) are both used to treat IBS, but they work in slightly different ways.

Pomiędzy mebeweryną (Duspatalin) i trimebutyną (Ircolon) nie wykazano interakcji mogących negatywnie wpływać na ich skuteczność i bezpieczeństwo.

Z racji tego, że oba leki oddziałują motorykę jelit, i fakt, iż są one wydawane wyłącznie z przepisu lekarza, o tym, czy istnieje uzasadnienie dla ich jednoczesnego stosowania powinien zdecydować lekarz.
