Tardyferon Fol ze względu na zawartość maltodekstryny nie jest lekiem bezglutenowym.
Teoretycznie Sorbifer Durules nie posiada glutenu, zatem można więc podejrzewać, że produkt ten mogą przyjmować osoby z celiakią. Należy mieć jednak świadomość, że naturalnie bezglutenowe składniki użyte do produkcji leków mogą zostać zanieczyszczone poprzez kontakt z urządzeniami, w których znajdowały się produkty glutenowe.
