Can statins lower blood pressure and heart rate?

I take bisocard 2.5 mg in the morning and evening polpril 5 mg . Due to high cholesterol 300 doctor prescribed me ridlip 5mg . In the morning it feels lethargic, pressure 110/65 and heart rate 50, sometimes 56. Is a decrease in heart rate possible from ridlip or from the combination of these drugs?

Pomiędzy substancjami czynnymi produktów leczniczych Bisocard, Polpril i Ridlip nie wykazano interakcji mogących negatywnie wpłynąć na ich skuteczność i bezpieczeństwo.

Jest mało prawdopodobne, spadek wartości ciśnienia tętniczego krwi i tętna miały związek z włączeniem do terapii leku Ridlip, choć oczywiście, jak w przypadku każdego leku, nie można tego w 100% wykluczyć.

Zachęcam do dokonywania regularnych pomiaru wartości ciśnienia tętniczego krwi i tętna i ich zapisywanie. Wyniki pomiarów warto pokazać lekarzowi. Być może na ich podstawie podejmie on decyzję o modyfikacji leczenia, np. zmniejszeniu dawki stosowanych leków.
