Fluconazole jest lekiem wydawanym na zlecenie lekarza. Dawka leku oraz czas leczenia są dobierane do stanu zdrowia oraz wagi pacjenta i ustala je lekarz po przeprowadzeniu badania. Farmaceuta w drodze internetowego wywiadu, nie mając żadnych informacji o pacjencie nie ustala dawkowania leków na receptę.
