Solcoseryl żel i pasta nie są tymi samymi produktami, żelu nie należy stosować w jamie ustnej.
Solcosery żel przeznaczony jest do stosowania na skórę, m.in. w leczeniu odleżyn, oparzeń, odmrożeń. Solcoseryl pasta doustna - w bolesnych oraz zapalnych schorzeniach jamy ustnej, opryszczki, aft. Preparaty te mają inny skład substancji pomocniczych i nie mogą być stosowane zamiennie.
