Oba wymienione leki mogą mieć pewne zastosowanie w przypadku problemów ze snem, natomiast nie są to typowe leki nasenne. Parogen jest stosowany w leczeniu dorosłych z depresją i/lub zaburzeniami lękowymi. Ketrel natomiast należy ona do grupy leków przeciwpsychotycznych. W kwestii doboru tych leków należy zaufać wyczuciu i doświadczeniu lekarza, który zbierał wywiad - oba produkty są wydawane na receptę.
