Długość leczenia ustala lekarz. Dawkę zwiększa się sukcesywnie na przestrzeni 4 tygodni. Konieczność dalszej terapii lekiem należy zweryfikować po 16 tygodniach, a jeśli wymagane będzie dalsze leczenie - weryfikować je raz w roku. Tak czy inaczej - ostateczna decyzja co do długości terapii zapada w oparciu o ocenę lekarza.
