Won't this dose of Azitrolek be too high?
Good morning, the ENT doctor wrote me AzitroLek 500 for 6 days, (1x1) In the leaflet I read that the total dose is 1.5g for 3 days. So is it possible to use it for 6 days? Isn't that too high a dose?

Nie, nie jest to za duża dawka. Azytromycyna występuje w opakowania po 3 lub po 6 tabletek. W zależności od zaleceń lekarza, należy ją zatem stosować odpowiednio przez 3 lub 6 dni - wszystko uzależnione jest od typu zakażenia oraz od jego intensywności. Proszę zatem zastosować się do zaleceń lekarza prowadzącego i przyjmować antybiotyk przez 6 kolejnych dni, najlepiej o stałych porach by utrzymać stężenie antybiotyku w organizmie na możliwie stałym poziomie.
