Rozumiem Pani obawy, natomiast zarówno zlecenie na lek, jak i jego podanie leży w gestii fachowego personelu medycznego. Sądzę, że to okulista zapoznany z Pani dokumentacją medyczną będzie mógł najwłaściwiej odpowiedzieć na wszystkie Pani niepokoje dotyczące skuteczności i możliwych powikłań.
Każdy lek może, ale nie musi powodować działania niepożądane. Obawiam się, że trudno z góry przewidzieć, czy i jakie skutki uboczne mogą wystąpić u danego pacjenta. Lekarz decyduje natomiast o tym, czy już obecne choroby nie stanowią istotnych przeciwwskazań do podania leku. Należy brać także pod uwagę, co może się stać w przypadku, jeśli zaniecha się leczenia w ogóle. Na tej podstawie szacowany jest tak zwany stosunek korzyści do ryzyka i zapada decyzja terapeutyczna.
