Does a 5-hour delay in inserting the disc impair its effectiveness?
Good morning, I usually put on a new contraceptive puck on Friday at 4 p.m. This time I put it on after almost 5h before 21. Whether the action of the disc has been weakened. As with tablets up to 12h, nothing happens?

Charakterystyka Produktu Leczniczego nie wspomina o tym, aby tak, jak w przypadku tabletek dozwolone opóźnienie wynosiło 12 godzin, więc zakładam, że pacjentka może opóźnić założenie krążka o max. 3 godziny bez utraty jego skuteczności.
W Pani sytuacji sugerowałabym więc stosowanie dodatkowej formy ochrony przez następne 7 dni.
