What is the difference between Vizidor Duo and Vizidor and should I switch to Vizidor Duo right away if my doctor has recommended a replacement?

I have a question: The ophthalmologist changed my drug for Vizidor glaucoma 20 mg/ml to Vizidor DUO. I have a lot of this first drug left (without DUO). Should I throw it away or can I still use it and then go to Vizidor DUO? What is the difference between these drugs. Thank you.

Najprawdopodobniej stosowanie samego dorzolamidu (substancji czynnej leku Vizidor) nie było wystarczające, dlatego lekarz zalecił zastosowanie leku złożonego, który oprócz dorzolamidu zawiera dodatek tymololu (Vizidor Duo). Tymolol jeszcze silniej obniża ciśnienie śródgałkowe u pacjentów z jaskrą. Dlatego w takiej sytuacji warto od razu zastosować przepisany przez lekarza Vizidor Duo, a nieużyty Vizidor zutylizować (lek jest zdatny do użycia tylko 28 dni od momentu otwarcia).
