Xylometazolin obkurcza naczynka krwionośne w błonie śluzowej nosa, zmniejszając wysięk i obrzęk śluzówki, przynosząc chwilową ulgę przy uciążliwym katarze.

Metmin jest lekiem o działaniu przeciwzapalnym, przeciwświądowym i przeciwalergicznym, ale on również ma działanie obkurczające naczynka.

Zastosowanie więc obu tych leków jeden po drugim nie ma sensu, a na dodatek może zaszkodzić.

Proszę więc stosować się do zaleceń lekarza i nie stosować xylometazoliny na własną rękę, chyba że to on zalecił jej stosowanie.
